These terms govern your use of LazyCalAI ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app is free

LazyCalAI is provided free of charge. There is no purchase, subscription, or fee. Free usage may be subject to limits, and we may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue the app (or any feature) at any time without notice.

2. What the app does

You submit a photo of a meal and the app returns an estimated nutrition breakdown (such as calories and macronutrients). Estimates are generated by a third-party AI service and are approximate.

3. Not medical or nutritional advice

Nutrition estimates are for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. They are not medical, dietary, or health advice. Do not rely on them for medical decisions, allergy management, or any purpose where accuracy matters. Consult a qualified professional for health or dietary guidance.

4. Third-party services

To work, the app sends your photo to a third-party AI provider (such as Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Alibaba/Qwen, or via OpenRouter). That provider collects, processes, and may share data under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control and are not responsible for. See our Privacy Policy for the full list and links.

⚠️ Do not submit private or sensitive content. Photograph food only. Do not include faces, documents, ID cards, screens, addresses, or any private information — anything you submit is sent to a third-party service. You are solely responsible for the content of the photos you submit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
submit content you do not have the right to share;
abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security of the app;
use the app in violation of any applicable law or the third-party service's terms.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, inaccurate estimates, or the handling of your data by third-party services. The app is free, and our total liability is limited accordingly.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
